The development of the digital infrastructure for the Biblissima project, by the "Biblissima Team", is entering the production phase, with the Biblissima portal as the end goal towards which various current development efforts are leading. An IT project manager will be necessary for the successful development and deployment of this portal.
Biblissima Toolkit: Two New Tools for Learning Ancient Languages
Two new tools for lemmatising and analysing texts in ancient languages have been added to the forthcoming Biblissima Toolkit: Collatinus-web (Latin) et Eulexis (Ancient Greek), both of which have just been released as beta versions.

Books within Books Database Now Online
The Books within Books database of Medieval Hebrew manuscript fragments held in European libraries, archives and collections is now open. You can access some 1500 records containing images and catalogue descriptions of the fragments found in collections in France, Italy, Switzerland, Poland and the Czech Republic.
Selected Proposals for Biblissima's Second Call for Projects
After examining the proposals submitted in response to Biblissima's second call for projects, the Scientific Advisory Board and the Executive Committee have selected six projects, four of which have been granted a renewal of their funding for a second year. The two new projects will begin in January 2015.

The Médiathèque of Troyes will be offering a summer class entitled "Reconstituer une bibliothèque médiévale aujourd’hui. L’exemple de Clairvaux" from Tuesday 26th to Saturday 30st August 2014, in collaboration with Biblissima and the IRHT (CNRS).

As part of the larger Biblissima project, the Department of Greek Studies of IRHT in Paris is looking to recruit a research assistant specialised in Greek manuscripts and libraries for a project on “Inventories of Byzantine and post- Byzantine libraries”. It is a two years appointment (1 year renewable) starting September 1st 2014.
