Job Offer (IRHT, Paris): Exploration of Archival Holdings

The IRHT is looking to recruit a specialist in library history to explore and research French archival holdings within the scope of the Biblissima project. Under the supervision of the Bibliothèques médiévales de France (BMF) project director, the selected candidate will conduct research in various archives — in Paris and other regions in France — to locate, identify and describe documents containing information on books and libraries in France during the Middle Ages and the Ancien Régime.

Start Date: 15th May 2014
Duration: 6 months (renewable)
Salary: level IE 2
Required Diploma: Master (minimum)
Location: IRHT, 40, avenue d’Iéna – 75116 Paris
Working Hours: 38.5 hours/week
